Favorite Hooters Gig and/or Tour Stop

We opened for Rod Stewart at the Big Sombero in Tampa Bay, FL in 1986. Personally, I had a rockin’ show and the band was on fire. 60,000 people went nuts.

Favorite Road Food

I love In-N-Out Burger in Southern California.  Double Double with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and raw onions. At home it's Dallyn’s Bolognese. Off the hook!

my back pages

My parents didn’t speak English so we all sort of learned together. My first words were Finnish. I visited Finland for a summer when I was 11 years old. My parents put me on a Pan Am flight by myself and I spent 10 weeks visiting all my relatives. I love my Finnish roots.

I think people might be surprised that my most favorite thing in world to do is reading books. Nothing better for me.

Some of my recent favorites: Deacon King Kong by James McBride, Dope Sick by Mary Beth Macy, & One Tough Out by Rod Carew.

live Gear

DW Drum and hardware, Zildjian cymbals. Roland SPDSX, Porter and Davies Tactiles seat.
