New single from the film "Backwards" return to news

If I Should Fall Behind cover

September 2012
The Hooters debut a new song in the film Backwards

"If I Should Fall Behind" is an all-new song written and recorded by The Hooters for the film "Backwards" and is featured at the end of the final scene and during the credits. The song perfectly complements the story in the film, and also stands proudly on its own along with other classics by The Hooters ("Time After Time" is also featured prominently during a meaningful scene).

The movie has strong connections with the Philadelphia area, and The Hooters were a natural choice to provide the closing song. The Philadelphia premiere was held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Thursday 20 September 2012, with a special "unplugged" performance by Rob, Eric and Dave at the reception, and the film opened in selected theaters in the U.S. on Friday 21 September, with more locations to follow.

The song is available for download at these leading digital music sources:   Amazon MP3   •   iTunes
