The Hooters work with Billy Goodman on his "Dark Horses" album
Billy Goodman is a modern troubadour living in Heidelberg, Germany who has played with such rock legends as
Jorma Kaukonen of Hot Tuna, Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane
and Dave Mason of Traffic. Most recently, Billy accompanied The Hooters on their 2004 and
2005 European tours as the opening act. He is an accomplished slide guitar player as well as a talented
singer and songwriter.
In September 2004, Billy traveled from Germany to Philadelphia to cut some rhythm tracks for his
new album at Rob Hyman's Elm Street Studios.
After a week of tracking, with backing support from all five members
of The Hooters, the results were so good that Rob decided to produce the project at his facility and release
it on his Monocle Music label.
The album was released in April 2005.
